She is a champion swimmer and skin diver, and loves to sit in on dive courses, often offering advice to new divers on how best to clear their mask.

Kate

Kate: also known as ‘Karen’s sister’, is an Instructor and commercially endorsed skipper. She also works full time for the Coast Guard in the Ops room, so if she is not diving or driving, you're sure to here her on channel 16. Kate is well known for her patience and brilliant personality, and she also makes a mean bacon buttie ! Kate helps out with all aspects of the dive centre, and especially likes to be involved with childrens courses.

Jason: is an Instructor and commercially endorsed skipper. He is also very handy with plumbing electrics and anything technical. As he’s a big lump he’s also useful for carrying your kit down to the water’s edge on a low water spring tide at St. Bride’s beach ! His gentle giant nature will put you at ease, as he lifts you and your donned equipment into the water in one big swoop! Jason is also a firefighter, so if you catch fire underwater your in safe hands !

Phil: aka the 'Tractor Man' is a Commercially endorsed skipper and a trainee Divemaster. Being a local resident since year dot, and running his own business locally, he is a man that knows everybody and can sort out any problem. He is a true friendly Pembrokeshire man, and will help you with anything. You will usually find him on the tractor launching boats in the early morning and often taking out boat charters.

Darren:is an Assistant Instructor and soon to be Instructor. He is also a first Aid Instructor and an Engineer. Usually you will see him with his little 'mini-me' - son Lloyd who already is a junior diver and endeavouring to follow in his Dads footsteps. Darren mostly works as a dive guide and as an assistant in diver training.

Becci: is our latest young fresh edition to the team. She is in charge of kitchen duties and cooks a mean fry-up breakfast. Her flap-jacks are always a welcoming treat after a hard days diving. You will also find her helping out in the shop and tank filling. She has become a keen diver herself and intends to progress through her courses. She is also quite a talented artist, and hopes to put her talents to the test, with murals on the Dive Centre Walls.......coming soon

Kevin: is a Commercially endorsed skipper, BSAC Instructor and PADI Divemaster. He also runs his own business in boat repairs.

He is a friendly, knowledgeable and capable seaman, and if not driving the RIB is usually sailing his yacht...He is also known to be very inventive with his slightly pre- historical dive kit....check out his fin straps!!

Dai: is a qualified Divemaster and Dive Guide, and despite trying to hang his fins up to dry after spending a lifetime career with the Royal Marines, has an affinity to St Brides Bay. He knows every nook and cranny and grain of sand like the back of his hand. He is a funny and personable guy and a fab buddy if you want to dive St Brides Bay.

Keith: - Dai's parner in crime, is famous at the Dive Centre for his artistic talent with Dive Maps. He also is a Divemaster and Guide, and has an amazing abilty of finding lost dive kit.... You will rarely see Keith without Dai, and together they make a brilliant Duo (apart from when their camping together) of which some people say should be a stage act.

Ceri

Ceri: is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, SAA instructor, commercial skipper and Scuba Technician. His knowledge of Pembrokeshire Diving is second to none, having been an active club diver in the area for the past 15 years. He also has many hidden talents, as a sought after builder, and thanks to his handy work we have our new self-contained gas filling building. Ceri brings a wealth of experience with him, and is a valuable member of the WWDC team. He is presently away training to gain his HSE part 3 and 4 diver, another string to his bow for 2009.

Lloyd: a former employeeof the past 3 years is now off to Australia to live. He is a Divemaster, and has just finished a media course at College studying photography and film. His enthusiasm and appreciation of Pembrokeshire Marine life is portrayed perfectly in his vast collection of underwater photographs. His pleasant and relaxed nature makes him an ideal buddy, but you best bring your camera too, as he'll find you the most surprising creatures. Lloyd assisted in student training, guiding dives and general shop duties, and like his Dad, Ceri, is eager to persue a Diving related career. Good Luck Lloyd - you will be missed!

Dave & Claire: are a husband and wife team who have been instructing at the centre during the 2006 season. Both of them qualified as instructors with WWDC a few years ago. Since then they have taught the full range of PADI courses at a couple of different centers within Wales. They are well known for the patience and smiley faces, and are valuable members of the WWDC team.

Ruth: is a Special Needs School Teacher, and in her spare time frequents the Dive Centre to help out with the busy stream of divers. She is also a Rescue Diver herself, and is known as the organised one. If you dont want something forgotten - tell Ruth.

Lawrence: was once a yearly summer visitor to the Dive centre, has now become our regular Holiday work experience helping hand. He is presently studying A Levels in Mathematics and Physics, and hopes to embark on a University course next year. He helps out in many aspects of the Dive Centre, and has learnt a lot about late nights and early mornings.....good student training.
